Video removed from listing

Hi, can anyone tell me why my videos of items i am selling are removed. Ebay do not say exactly why the video is removed. Even though its a video of the item i have photographed from all angles. So nothing in the video that not in the pics

Re: Video removed from listing

I cannot tell you why they have been removed,  we have no access to your account to see if and what any errors were made.

All I can offer is eBay's help page , how to add a video to your listing,  it may show something you are not doing correctly.  I also think a laptop / PC is needed here,  not the app or mobile browser?  Happy to be corrected on that one! 🤔

You can only add one video per listing, but you can use the same video on multiple listings - you just need to upload it once.

Upload a video using the new listing tool by selecting Add video from the Photos & Video section: - The video should be .mp4 or .mov with a 150MB limit, or about one minute long - you need to do this from the Seller Hub.

Re: Video removed from listing

Hi, thank you for the reply. I have uploaded 3 other videos of similar items and they were ok.

They are of the item in the listing which has pics of the item. I am just trying to upload a video of the item on a turntable so that you get a 360 degree view.

They are the right format and size.

So does not make sense and can not get though to help centre, just get left waiting and then an error saying try later. Very frustrating.

Re: Video removed from listing

Access to your account would be necessary so you need to contact Customer Services, but the best time to contact CS is first thing when lines open at 8 a.m. for ' live agents'  then there's more chance of Dublin answering.  They hopefully will be able to see why the videos were removed.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

As said I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
