Unjustified payment dispute

I sold a product of almost €1000 to an ebay user in Albania. Because I have less sales history, ebay has announced to freeze the amount for a month to make sure that the buyer would be satisfied. A month after delivery, the buyer filed a payment dispute with the reason that she cannot recognize herself in this transaction. I have sent screenshots of our message traffic on ebay. Tracking data that the product has been delivered. Then I see that it can take 2 to 8 weeks before a decision is made. This is not possible? So I have to wait almost 3 months before I get paid. Is this normal? And is there a chance that the buyer can wrongly get his money back? What are the consequences for me? I placed an advertisement, sold the product, then sent it registered and insured. Delivery has taken place. The buyer also confirmed this in the message traffic. But still, she filed a payment dispute after a month.

These are UK boards - you might get better advice asking in the forum for your country.

In the UK, as long as you can prove delivery to the address used by the buyer at checkout, you would win your case.

However, as you have discovered, it can take some time.

I don't know what you sold, but personally, I would have taken something of that value to a 'bricks and mortar' auction house.
