Unjustified negative feedback

Is there anything that can be done to remove unjustified negative feedback from a buyer?

The item was delivered to the foyer of the buyer’s building - not their physical address.

This is clearly an issue that was outside my control as the seller. I did my part sending the item within 24hrs of receiving payment.

The buyer didn’t even message me to raise any issue, they just leave negative feedback. I have however messaged them and offered to help. Sadly though, they appear to be a little abrasive and I suspect my request to have the feedback changed will be declined.

Surely leaving me negative feedback for an issue completely outside my control and not giving an opportunity to resolve is unjustified.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Unjustified negative feedback

Do you have tracking to show delivery?  Then, contact eBay Customer Services with this information.

I strongly suggest only speaking to Dublin who usually answer first thing when the lines open for agents at 9 a.m. on weekends and 8 a.m. on weekdays.  Only speak to them,  you'll hear their dulcet tone to know if it's the Emerald Isles answering.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

As said,  I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
