I am new to this. I have just sold my second item, a dress for £6.90 excluding postage, which the buyer paid for. Only 71p has been paid to my bank account. I cannot see any way to contact Ebay re this. Please advise! Many thanks.

That's certainly not right.
Did you by chance receive any cancellation requests or non payments on the other items you sold?
Check the breakdown of your sold transactions here:

One more question, have you bought postage from eBay? This is also deducted from your available payout.
If the payout and charges are still not clear, then contact eBay Customer Services, who have access to your account and can explain any fee for you, their lines are open now until 6 p.m. tonight.
The easiest and quickest way to contact Customer Services is through this link, for a Call Back .

On weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Weekends lines open between 9 a.m. to 6p.m.

All transactions pass through the seller hub, there you should be able to see exactly where your money has gone.

There shouldn't be any fees on clothing for aprivate seller, something is definitely wrong here.

They have 23 items listed @61stephenuk wonder if they have been buying postage through eBay.
One sale wasn't clothing, it was a hat, low value, but not included in free listing / selling.

Aaah , don't exclude the Highlands, shame to lose some sales, just change postal carriers.
If you use Royal Mail they charge the same to the Highlands and indeed other places like Channel Isles, Isle of Man etc. where couriers have this surcharge , it's the same price for RM to post there, as it is to post the item to your next door neighbour.
