A week ago I refunded a buyer because they didn't receive my item. Ebay said he got the refund and the case was now closed. Now I get a message saying the refund was declined by my bank (even though i had enough money in it for the refund). So Ebay have taken the price of the refund offmy "ebay funds" giving me a negative amount. It gives you the option to make a one off payment so i tried but when i did i get asked to verify the payment by logging in to the HSBC mobile banking App which I cant use as my phone is basically a brick.
Went into my branch, and he thinks they didn't have my mobile number to text an authorisation code so i asked well can i give you my number, but they wont take it without photo idea (my passport is out of date).
My question is a) will ebay try to take the money from my account as i cant send it to them and b) will they increase the fees the longer this goes on. I've listed some items just so i can regroup the amount needed to pay back but dont know if or when i'll get a sale.
