Hi there - I wonder if anyone here can help or has had a similar issue?
I bought a pricey item from Japan during a discount promotion. Whilst I expected to pay import fees (20%) it appears I've ended up paying against the pre-discounted price -NOT FAIR! As a separate issue, the item was also post free but the vendor also failed to adjust the sales price to reflect the actual postage cost so the freight company added this on top when calculating the customs charge - DOUBLE NOT FAIR!!
I've written to the vendor but can't find a way to raise this directly with eBay - does anyone know the policy when it comes to these discounts?
