UK Domestic Postage

On 5th September E-Bay sensibly changed their policy on UK Domestic Postage to allow low weight low cost items to be excluded from their "Simple Delivery" process. I have been unable to find a listing of what sale categories are eligable for this. When I try to post an item on my category Collectables/transport collectables/aeronautica/airlines/slides I am required to use the "Simple Delivery " process. I sell many items for £1.00 and had previously offered postage at £1.00. Now I am required to quote £2.70 and a large letter. This is simply not feasible and so I am unable to list anything. i have attempted to explain the problem to E-Bay agents but with no success. Can anyone advise where this listing on items that are eligible for optional "Simple Delivery " can be found and assuming my sub category is not on it how I can best contact E-Bay to get it reviewed.

Thanks

I don't know if there is a definitive list.

The best way I have found is by trial and error.

So, for example, now jewellery is eligible for Simple Delivery, if I list a 'set', I have to use SD.  If I list the brooch and earrings under brooches, I can still list as a Large Letter and use my own postage policy.

Have a trawl through other listings from private sellers and note where postage is still clearly set by the seller rather than being SD.

I realise this is time-consuming and far from ideal!

Hopefully, somebody else will be able to offer a better solution.
