I have been watching an item and the seller made me an offer.
When I click "review offer" it takes me to a summary page with a "goto checkout" at the bottom of the page.
Now when I click that link i get a red message saying "there was an issue processing your request"
I have tried Chrome, Edge & Firefox which are all the same.
I have tried the app which also is the same.
I have tried Chrome on Android and just the same.
I'm not new, I have been with eBay for decades with 1794 purchases and sales.
I called eBay who said Technical will look at it in the next 24hrs, they have not bothered to get back to me.
All eBay can say is "your offer lasts 2 more days", that is fine except offers have been made to more than me as far as I know.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful.

To add, I have another offer from another seller, I just tested that one and I can take that to checkout without issue.
This is the error message btw.

I don't know what the issue could be but you could ask the seller to revise or relist at the offer price. Or put your ID on their exemption list to remove any blocks.

Hi, thank you, yes I asked them to either adjust the offer by a tiny amount either up or down and also asked them to make the same offer to my partner (who is now also watching the listing) so I can try a different account .
I don't think they have seen the messages as there has been no response.
Adjusting the sale price was going to be my next suggestion as they don't have a "make offer" option on the listing my partner can use.

I managed to get the seller to reduce the price to the offer price so i was able to buy it.
I may have worked out the issue, it was a Mitre saw I was trying to buy, and during checkout I had to verify I was over 18 as it has a blade (lol). I'm guessing this is the reason the offer would not go through.
