Tracking number mistake

I posted an item out yesterday and the tracking number was slightly wrong (didn't have my glasses on when I updated the app)

Is there a way I can correct this on the app so that eBay sees my item has been delivered?

Most probably not on the app as it's very limited in its functions, but you may be able to do this on a laptop / PC and use Chrome.  If not,  contact eBay Customer Services to adjust the tracking for you.

End of the day if it cannot be done,  you will receive the payout,  it's just a longer wait,  14 days.

If you need to, this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I found a way around this by marking the item as not dispatched.

I was then able to start again and add the correct(!!!) tracking number.

I really should wear my glasses when reading small print off receipts!!

I suspect it only works with custom postage.
