A prospective buyer messaged me from one of my listings, and I want to send him an offer on that item. But when I select "Send offer" from the top of the conversation and enter the proposed price, the "Continue" button only gets me the following message:
"Sorry, we are experiencing a technical problem."
No error code or anything.
I've tried numerous times with the same result, on both my laptop and my phone.
As a last resort I even looked into temporarily changing the price on the listing, but I'm not allowed to do that because offers that I've sent to watchers are pending.
Any advice on how to overcome this before the buyer loses interest? Thanks.

Just to add that I've now had to work around this with two buyers on separate listings, by them purchasing at full price before I've then issued a partial refund to bring it down to the agreed offer price.
If they hadn't placed their faith in me to do that, or thought the workaround sounded too complicated, then that's potentially two sales I'd have lost out on while waiting for this bug to be fixed.
