HI all,
need some proper advice and help here.
I am stuck in an endless loop of stupidity and its driving me a little batty
I am listing a Tag Heuer watch, i have listed it as i do with a little template i have used for 5 years now, never had an issue at all however now my ads keep getting taken down for "policy violation" "Offers to sell outside of eBay"....
Both are absolutely, theres absolutely no info at all about selling off eBay, nothing, i have been at this for 20+ years so i do know what im doing and i have quad checked the wording, its literally got nothing on the ad saying anything about what my ads are being removed for....
I got to the end of my ( short ) tether and used chat to get them to call me back last night, 21/01.....
after the usual run around i got through to a lovely lady who told me it was an obvious automated issue and that she could see nothing wrong with the ad, she then proceeded to tell me to appeal the "violation", which would take 24 hours ( note: its been a lot longer and no reply )...
She then told me to "alter" a few words, i asked her which ones and she said she didnt know!!!!
So i relisted the item with a completely different description, only to have the ad flagged for the same reason again, this has now happened 5 times, i delete the offending ad, re up it and it does it again....
and now the chat isnt working so i have no way to contact this shower and get this fixed, meanwhile im worried that all these "violations" will lead to my account getting flagged...
Anyone help a bro out at all, maybe with a number ( UK ) i can contact this lot on to get this dsorted?
TIA

Have you tried listing without including your 'rules' as part of the description.
Most of them contravene Ebay policies.
You have to follow Ebay rules - you can't make your own up.

Yep and ive been using them for years without any issue. Besides, the "rules" dont constitute the reason for the policy violations or sales outside of eBay, trust me when i tell you ive tried it all, im stuck in an AI controlled loop 😞

OK, just had the most idiotic conversation with eBay "help", a very unhelpful lady tole me the word " links" flags ebays automated system to violate the ad without human intervention, so when i add the line " includes extra two links for bracelet", the automated system goes bananas and decides your trying to selloff platform...
This is the single most stupid thing i have heard, and eBays help just stuck their heels in and insisted this is a perfectly valid way to police their site, automated AI that cant tell the difference between an embedded link and the word links.... Its safe to say the World is safe from AI.....
This is yet another reason to leave this site, after 20 years of being bullied and at the mercy of idiotic policies and automatic AI systems i am DONE!
