Starting a Listing

Hi, I’ve got a listing ready, but, I’m having trouble with the “Delivery” section.  I keep entering “Custom Delivery” details needed, ie Royal Mail - 87p, but when I press “done” and it returns to the listing, the delivery section changes and comes up with the following message “Delivery options have been updated.  Please provide postage details to continue”.  Does anyone know how I can get this sorted?  Thank you.

eBay are in the process of doing away with custom postage and making Simple Delivery compulsory.   Even if you manage to opt out of SD they are switching listings back, even after they go live.   There are also lots of glitches at the moment due to the changes.   If possible delay your new listings until things have settled down.

Thank you for your explanation.  I think I will be withdrawing from eBay as these costs are not at all fair.  Most items I sell are selling for less than the postage charge.
