Something doesn't feel right

Hi,

A Buyer in Thailand has paid for a collection only item in the UK and are asking for my phone number and address so that their 'sister' can collect the item.

It just doesn't feel right to me.  Does anyone have any similar experiences or know if this is a scam?

I can't see that this is any different from somebody in the UK turning up, they may well have a sister in the UK near you.

None of your items are red flags to scammers i.e. iPhones, laptops etc.

Not unusual for a buyer from outside the UK to get someone in the UK to buy an item on there behalf,so is the address of the buyer on the order details a UK address?

No address on their profile or on the order (that I can see) as it's collection only.

Thank you for your reply.

Get their sister to sign a copy of the order when they collect the item.

If the buyer has asked you to send your phone number and address, then there communication is by ebay messages I take it,so ask the buyer to provide the sisters phone number so you can call them!!!
