Since May 2025 As a private seller I can't edit my postage fees

Since May 2025 Ebay  As a private seller you do not have much control with the way you dispatch your items. I'd always looked around and would sometimes used Parcels2go or through ebay postage with royal mail and Yodel. Ebay have taken the choice away. we are left with evri or royal mail. You cant even select Yodel now which was cheaper. What's most annoying is sending an item as a large letter.  On very few like a knitting pattern its let me send it as a letter 87p under 100gr and some items at £1.55 under 100gr but mostly I'm stuck with a charge of £2.70 large letter up up 1kg. it will not let me put the right weight in, so the buyer is charged with the higher price on everything up to 1kg as a large letter. Some small women's clothing was under 250gr. The postage would have been a charge of under £2. Now with the added insurance  onto every item you sell. The postage is also higher with the incorrect postage weight of packages

Selling low value items, with all the ebay changes has now become far to expensive, and unless you can sell exempt items, simple postage is not simple or cheap. I have been selling on ebay since 2002 and never has it been so bad, with buyers put off by ebay fees.

The only consolation is no sales means ebay do not get any money out of me, and I am sure many other sellers find it the same, so ebay is missing  out on a lot of sales.

If they want to get rid of small sellers why don’t they say so.
