I have been using Simple Delivery for my items and have been impressed with the ease of label production and the saving of a few pennies on things. I sell items that fit a large letter size, usually under 100 grams and of a value £5 to £40 or so.
However, I have listed a few items this evening, pieces of jewellery, that have a value of £150 or so. Simple Delivery has forced me to use its calculation for postage and the cost is the same as my usual under £50 costed item. I would have normally used Special Delivery Next Day and have ensured the item was fully insured, but Ebay will not let me select such a service. The brief states that their postage calculation is insured by themselves, but jewellery falls into a restricted category, so I'm not sure if they should be selecting the service they have as they appear to be breaking their own rules. Has anyone any idea what I should do?
