Simple Delivery from Channel Islands

Does anyone know if simple delivery will cover postage of items from the Channel Islands as we have an independent postal administration and postage costs certainly from Guernsey are much higher than Royal Mail.

As Guernsey etc are Crown Dependencies and therefore not technically part of the UK I would say no.

dave@ebay  are you able to confirm that the Channel Islands and Isle of Man as self governing Dependencies are not included in Simple Delivery.

Thanks I've actually converted my account to business seller and then can opt out, I think I should have been a business seller as I collect but buy auction lots, take what I need and resell the rest to recoup some of the costs so can sell quite a bit.

But if Dave from eBay can answer a follow up question.... ebay is asking me for my National Insurance number.... We have a different system and mine, issued by the States of Guernsey is not the right format... sorry off topic.

I think you need to change your country location so that Guernsey appears as the country not as you have on a couple of your listings I just checked where it says Guernsey United Kingdom.

Hi, can I ask one more question, if I sign up to the £27pcm basic shop package do I still pay final value fees on the free allocation of listings (7 day and fixed price)? The eBay AI assistant isn't very good. Thanks Tom

You still pay the FVFs as shown in the fees table.

The basic shop package is good for sellers who list a lot of items as you then qualify for some free listings but you do have to pay Ebay the selling fees.
