Simple Delivery Return - Will I get my item back?

This was a Return.
It was not lost in the post or damaged. There was nothing wrong with the item I sent and I have not been allowed to see why the buyer asked to return it.
But what concerns me is that the message from eBay gives the impression they have settled the whole issue on their own. So am I going to get my item back or not?
.

You will not get the item back.

If you send an item using Simple Delivery, and the buyer opens a return because the item arrived damaged or was damaged in transit, then Ebay handles the claim and refunds the buyer,

You will get payment for the item or will keep it if you already have it.

The buyer keeps the item.

You don't need to do anything and do not lose out financially.

Re: Simple Delivery Return - Will I get my item back?

It is the Money Back Guarantee where ebay is responsible for refund, not the seller.

Re: Simple Delivery Return - Will I get my item back?

Your answer was simple, clear and concise. And my reply is "Who would have known."
Your Kierkegaard addition was pointless because my question; "Will I get my item back" involved no aspect of belief or disbelief.
Truth depends upon reality. And reality depends upon a level of perception that most humans do not have. Which means there are innumerable ways they can get fooled.
To be unable to perceive what is true.
To be prevented from seeing what is true.
On and on.
Thanks.

Obviously you are right. I am just annoyed that it does not say that in the eBay policy.
I searched < what is the eBay money back guarantee > and the policy page only talks about the buyer being refunded.

You are a private seller and you use Simple Delivery.

This was always a 'Simple Delivery' issue rather than being related to the Money Back Guarantee.

If you plan to continue selling, you need to familiarise youself with the details of Simple Delivery.

Follow the links and read the FAQs:
