Why on my list an item form does it say buyer pays for shipping as I requested the when my item is listed it says the seller pays for shipping free to buyer

That will be the new Buyer protection process where buyers pay for postage, unless you state free delivery then you the seller pays for postage.

At the end of the day the buyer always pays, whether to you and you buy the postage, or buyer pays for postage and you just receive the purchase price.

Simple postage just complicates everything.
