Why is ebay telling me what I can send as an offer price, this never used to happen. I think ebay want me to give my stuff away

Never seen ebay even suggest a price.
Even if they do it is up to you whether you make an offer and the amount.
If everyone followed ebay suggestions, we would all be starting at 99p with free postage.
