Selling

It's just too hard now to sell on Ebay. I've worked with Ebay for years but these new regulations are ridiculous. For Example - to simply enter the Ebay site I have to enter my Name, my password - and then wait for a texted number to reach my phone.  That's a few minutes of mu life gone.  BUT ... If I sell an item I now have to have a code number which I have great difficulty in locating and which takes even more time - or I can't get paid for the item I've sold.  Ebay are making it far too difficult for 'normal' people to do any business.  I currently have four items for sale - will I ever get paid if they sell? Plus the fact that Ebay want me to 'promote' the sales, which puts more money in the Ebay coffers.  I think we're

Re: Selling

I do not understand why you need a text every time you log in, do you not have a short cut on whatever device you use.  Mine takes me straight to ebay, and I have short cuts for several different pages. I also do not know why you need a code for sold items, I have never heard of this but it might be related to your log in problem.

Getting paid should also not be difficult, money goes to ebay and is released to your account within 24 hour. You do have to withdraw to your bank account though, but money arrives very fast.

Although ebay claim it is free to list and sell, using promotions is supposed to make your listings more visible. You do not have to accept the recommended rate, sales had virtually fallen off a cliff so I reluctantly use a 5% rate, ebay respond with “A higher rate will get more visitors”, so Free listings is pretty well meaningless.
