Selling one of a pair of armchairs

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me here.  I am selling two identical armchairs together.  If a buyer only wants one of them how do I go about this?  Usually the buyer has a QR code I scan and payment goes through but of course this will be half of the amount?  Fortunately I am not in this situation at the moment but I am looking ahead and of course not everybody wants to buy two

A potential buyer would have to message in advance to discuss buying one only,

Easy enough then for you to cancel the current listing and list the chairs separately so the buyer can purchase one only.
