Selling items and buyer reported not recieved, was refunded by ebay and now buyer has finally reciev

I sold a set of books  the buyer contacted me to say he hadnt recieved them, i sent the evri tracking to him. Ebay then refunded him and hes contacted me to say hes finally recieved them today (4 weeks after i posted). So does that mean i lose the sale money or do ebay refund him?

Who refunded the buyer?

Did Ebay refund them because you sent the books with a Simple Delivery label or did the money come from your account?

The sets of books you sold early in November were listed with Simple Delivery.

When the buyer opened a case because they had not received the items, did you get a message saying the buyer had opened a case but Ebay were dealing with it and you didn't need to do anything?
