Selling hatching eggs?

Hi everyone, I was looking for a little help regarding the new policy on selling hatching eggs in the UK now? apparently Ebasy has updated its policy and will no longer allow users to sell hatching eggs? I wanted to know if anyone knew the reason behind this or has been having the same issue at all?

They have indeed banned the sale of hatching eggs - they are explicitly named in their 'live animals policy' as prohibited items.

Mentors can only advise on Ebay policy, not the reasoning behind their decisions.  To be honest, I think it is unlikely that any Ebay Customer Services advisors could explain the reason behind this change.

You will have to find somewhere else to sell your hatching eggs.

eBay is unlikely to discuss the reasons but it may be concreted with the advent of simple delivery, which makes eBay responsible for refunding for damage in delivery.
