Seller trouble

I had to pay extra postage at the PO to collect the item

Opened a case and seller asked me to close the case then they will pay me the extra postage

I refused to close the case as I want my refund then I will close the case

They have till tomorrow before I go further

Am I correct?

Certainly if you close a case on ebay you have no leverage and would not be able to open another one.   But I'm not sure what sort of case you could have started.   There isn't one that deals with postage underpayment.

What sort of case have you opened?
If you collected the item, you can't really open an 'item not received' case.

If you open a return, the seller won't be liable to refund the 'fine' you had to pay to collect your item.
