Seller split my order into two and won't reply to my request to send back as one return

I bought two of the same item from a seller and my payment initially went through but was then amended and split into two separate payments linked to two separate orders. 

I want to return both items but the seller won't reply to my request to send them back as one return in the same package. When I click return item on ebay it forces me to select a prepaid courier and pay $5 for each return. 

So in a nutshell, the seller split my order into two and won't reply to my message asking if I can send both back together. Any advice would be appreciated.

If they are two orders you need to open two returns.

If it was 2 orders, you have to open 2 ebay case and send each item separately. 

If it is change of mind return, private seller can refuse these type of case.

It was one order. The seller split it into two shipments.
