Seller says item damaged in post and offering a refund

I'm just wondering how long this refund takes.  dBay seem to have change their contact details.  I have checked Paypal and not refund so far.  Paypal suggests I contact eBay but it is not easy nowadays.  The online assistant has "technical" difficulties.  I want a refund asap to buy elsewhere.

If it's been issued by the seller it will return to source.    That can take 7 days to return to your bank account or up to 30 days to return to credit card (although usually quicker).   You should have received email notification from ebay.

If it has not been issued you would have to wait until the last estimated delivery date on the listing has passed then select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-arr...
and escalate it 3 complete working days later.

If you want to contact ebay you can request a callback on here:
