Seller query

Hi I've now received an offer on my Rolex watch, which I'm selling with Authentication guarantee through eBay. But as you can see in the "message" received from them they are wanting me to click on a picture to verify I'm a authentic seller. I'm thinking it's a scam?

Am I protected in any way?

I think you are right.

It is very dodgy selling high end items on ebay.

If that buyer wants your item then they accept the offer and pay.

That is all they have to do.

You dont have to click on anything

Personally I would block that member

I would message via Ebay messages and tell them that they can ask any questions they have through Ebay, by replying to YOUR message.

If they don't, I would decline the offer and block them.

Are they a UK buyer?  The authenticity guarantee protects you as well as the buyer but doesn't apply to items sent overseas.
