Seller only offering £5 refund.

Ordered a wireless retro game pad, didn't have what i wanted so requested returns form. Seller just keeps saying "too much hassle to return" and only offered £5 refund. Cannot get incontact with resolution centre.

Your post is confusing.

You seem to be saying that you never got anything but have opened a return case. If you actually received nothing and opened a returns case then you cannot do anything via eBay and need to try your payment provider.

However, if you got the wrong item open a not as described case -

Key questions so you can get some useful advice:

Why do you want to return the item?

When did you receive it?

Are you saying you changed your mind about item?

If so unless it was business seller they don't have to accept return,

Even if they do, you must return it via tracked postage at your cost.

This is a change of mind return so the seller does not have to accept a return unless they are a business seller.  It will say on their account if they are a private or business seller.

If you open a request for a return through Ebay, a private seller can refuse.

A business seller does have to accept the return.  They will have to provide their address but not a label because you will have to pay for the return.

If you have opened a request, and the seller has accepted it, you can ask Ebay to intervene and make the seller provide their address.
