Item Return - Seller wants me to cancel return, so they can issue a refund?!

Ive started a return (Listing picture misleading) and the seller has contacted me, asking me to cancel the return and they will issue a refund and arrange collection - is this legit, or should I stick to the returns process?

My understanding is that once I cancel a return, I wont be able to open a return again should the seller not honour the refund so Im weary to do as they ask.

TIA

You are right.   Do not close the return.    if you haven't done so already you will be able to escalate it to ebay after 4 days.
