Seller manipulating ebay policy to avoid refund or return

I purchased an item that was faulty.

I contacted the seller. They agreed to make a refund.

They then stalled for a number of weeks, lots of emails to pacify me.

The time window for raising a case passed & now the seller doesn't communicate.

I've spoken to ebay, they're now investigating.

I want to warn people about these practices.

How can I do that

Re: Seller manipulating ebay policy to avoid refund or return

You can leave feedback, but it may be removed if you didn't open an eBay return within the 30 day timeframe.

For future reference, if you receive a faulty item you don't need to contact your seller. If you open a return this serves as contacting them.

You leave feedback for them.   If it's past 30 days ebay are unlikely to do anything about a refund but you can contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback.
