Seller has banned me from buying from them - for no reasons

I tried to buy a piece of furniture from a private seller. When I enter the 'buy it now' I get a reply 'The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you'. I have no history with this seller. Ebay seems to be a useless platform to buy when the sellers are individuals.  I have good experience from buying from Companies

Not sure why you are blaming eBay for this,  they have not blocked you,  they are only a selling platform,  the seller has blocked you.

I can only guess,  and it's only a guess,   that you are trying to buy an expensive piece of furniture from this seller,  and seeing you have no  recent buying activity,  perhaps this made them block you.

I agree,  It's not a good reason to block a buyer and it may not be the reason,  but it's the seller's prerogative,  to block anyone they do not wish to sell to.

That message would normally appear if you've managed to accrue two or more unpaid item strikes within a 12 month period, or if you're in an area that the seller doesn't ship to.
