Seller fraud - wrong model of eReader

I bought an eReader for an elderly relative last May - Kobo Clara BW - new £130 I bought for £100 used.

Over the Christmas period my Gran told me that the eReader was much slower than she had expected. I looked at it and it turns out that I was missold an earlier model - Kobo Clara HD, goes for £65-80 used.

As the purchase was 8 months ago, I am outside the return/refund  period. I'm struggling to get in touch with eBay themselves throught their automated systems. The seller hasn't replied to my messages.

Where can I go from here?

Many thanks for any help or advice

Sorry, but you are unlikely to get anywhere with this.

Ebay MBG is only for 30 days.

Even your payment provider won't be interest after all this time.

Lesson to learn is to check all items on delivery for faults & as described per listing.

There's nowhere you can go with this at this late stage.

It's important to check your purchases while you're still within eBay's 30 day returns period.
