I'm in need of some advice. It's a long story so please bare with.
So....I bought 2 items off a seller, and my daughter bought 1 item off the same seller. Postage costs were £5 per item. The problem started when I asked for a combined postage discount. Seller declined and stated that they were being posted separately because one item was big and I was told to just pay and I will get the difference refunded. He refunded me £4 out of the £10, so I've now payed £6 postage. Great! Fast forward a couple of days and the tracking number provided is showing as invalid, so I message again asking if it was correct. He apologised because he had left the last 4 digits off the end. Now this is where the problem gets bigger. The tracking number he gives me is exactly the same as my daughters. A package arrives this morning and it turns out, the 2 items I bought. And the 1 item my daughter bought were all sent out together in the same bag. The seller has had £11 in total between me and my daughter to post out in 1 mailing bag that cost £3.95. I understand it's not just postage you pay for, but this has really grinded my gears. Not so much for me, but my daughter. The package come in my name so to me it looks like my daughter has paid postage for nothing, and I personally don't think they should get away with it. I just need some advice to see if there's anything I can do, or do I just suck it up?
