Ordered an item to find it didn't come with all parts I required. Contacted seller and they stated that this was the case. I then asked twice if they could help with the extra parts needed and they ignored me. When I stated I would contact eBay and ask them to step in the seller stated it was all my fault and that I was being manipulative. I now want to return the item but don't see why I should pay for the postage as I believe they could have stated that not all parts came with the item. Please help

If the listing was misleading you can open a "not as described" return as long as its still within 30 days of delivery. Escalate to ebay after 3 complete days.

There is a link to eBay's money back guarantee in every listing, or see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
You don't have to negotiate with the seller, and you don't have to to pay the return postage. Just read and follow the instructions.
Make sure that you open a case within the time limit (30 days from the date of delivery).

You write, 'I believe they could have stated that not all parts came with the item'
We are only getting half of the story here.
If you received everything that was pictured and described in the listing, then perhaps the seller was not in the wrong.
You say you told the seller you would ask Ebay to step in but accuse the seller of being a bully.
If you did not receive everything that was in the pictures and described in the listing, then of course you should start a return. Otherwise, this could just be a reminder to look at everything carefully and read all of the details when you buy online.
