Purchased a small item with free delivery. Item weight 10 gms. Item didn't arrive within time but delays happen no problem. Waited another 6 days then raised issue via item didn't arrive button on order screen, stating I did want the item. Ebay issued a refund. I got a card from post office a few days later stating item not delivered as sufficient postage had not been paid and I would need to pay £5 to get item. Twice the amount my item had cost. Left negative feedback, no exaggeration just stating facts. Thought that it was all done. Have now had two messages from seller with lots of excuses why this had happened, sick mother, overwhelmed and stating I was ruining their reputation and I should change my feedback. Seller also said my lack of communication was the problem and again I should change my feedback.
Would I be being petty to flag ebay that the seller is doing this?

No point contacting eBay, the messages aren't abusive or threatening so they cannot stop the seller sending them.
You can however, just ignore them, do not reply, the seller will soon get the hint and stop messaging you.

Personally, I'd be inclined to leave it as it is and just not engage further with the seller.

I did ignore them. They've messaged me again and called me a liar.
