Seller Scam - eBay refuse to compensate

I received a message from the seller to say that although the item had been marked as delivered within the eBay system, they realised it has not and it was an 'admin' error.  They assured me the item would arrive.  When the item did not arrive I sent numerous messages to the seller but no response received.  I looked at the reviews of this seller and could see that they had pulled this scam on many, many other buyers.  On contacting eBay and explaining all the above, they would not refund me because I had raised it with them outside of their return window.

 

The seller has defrauded me of my money, eBay have enabled this scam to continue as I could see all the similar reviews on the seller's account, and eBay are unreasonably withholding a refund due to their 'policy' despite my many requests.

 

What a SCAM from both seller and eBay!

There is a link to the money back guarantee on every eligible listing, why didn't you read how it works?

 

There have to be rules and they include a 30 day window to open a case.

 

Numerous messages to the seller are not part of the process.
