Said out for delivery 6 days ago. No further update

I have an item going to the eBay international hub in USA. It said it was out for delivery on 10th September. That is the last update on the tracking. No scan to say delivered. I’m guessing my item is now lost 😞 I’ve asked the seller to chase it but is there anything else I can do. Has anyone had anything similar?

You can open item not received case 1 day after estimated delivery date.

Seller will be protected by ebay, but case still needs to be opened.

Hey. Thanks for your reply. Yeah I know I can do that once the estimated delivery date has passed. I just wondered if anyone else had had a similar experience. Just worried it’s lost now tbh

But you are the seller, if you mean buyer, however can they do any more than ask, USA us a lot bigger than the UK and certainly many more parcels in the system.

It is up to buyer to open a not received case, and you to deal with it, although if it is Global Shipping it should be their problem, you only need proof of delivery to global.

I’m the buyer. Just asked seller if they can speak to USPS, to see if they know what’s going on. I know it’s slower and is a bigger place. I’m more asking if anyone else has had anything similar or not

GSP items do take longer, but nothing seller can do.

You have 30 days from estimated delivery to open case, but don't leave it that long.

Yeah I know they can take longer. I just think it’s strange it said out for delivery nearly a week ago with no further updates

Tracking number for USA will different for courier in UK.

Nothing you can do except wait until it arrives or you open ebay case.
