SImple Delivery for valuable gold coin

I have listed and sold a gold coin which is under £750 and comes up with simple delivery option.  When I look at 'excluded' items however, it says gold and silver is not covered under the guarantee so I am worried if it goes missing, ebay won't pay up even though it gave me the option when I listed the item to be

At that price I would buy my own fully insured postage but you must add the tracking number to ebay so that the buyer cannot claim non-receipt.    To do that you still need to generate the original prepaid label.   Then go to the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.   That has to be done on a desktop browser. 

After that if you've paid for the original ebay label you can cancel it here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

Many thanks.  Read other articles on it and seems best I cover fully insured and signed for myself and as you say, forget about Ebay as they won't cover the item under simple delivery.
