Ridiculous Fees

When are ebay going to stop these ridiculous buyer protection fees? Private sellers like myself are losing out. No one is winning here ebay, if I don't sell, which I'm not selling alot, you don't make ANY money. Take off these fees and let us all earn some money!! Even go back to the old charges, anything is better than this right now!!!

Yes. a lot are complaining about new buyer fee.

But can offer some advice,

you are charging too much for postage compared to other sellers.

You charge £4.55, while a lot of others will only charge £2.94

If you look at your ratings for postage on feedback page, you are down to 4.6,

so buyers are marking down.

Buyers look at overall cost to buy.

Which is one of the downsides to loading the postage because there is no BPF on that.

Not that I am saying the OP is doing that, just a general observation.

This is probably why ebay are pushing sellers to use simple delivery.

Although if you search you can opt out, how long will it be until compulsory.
