Returned, refunded item

I have bought 2 items on a fixed price. Neither has been received. Contacted the sellers in both case to report non receipt. Both have refunded me. Both of the items have now been delivered, thank you Royal Mail! I want to make payment to the sellers for both items but both say they can't help because of EBay rules. Apparently there is a way to do it but the help pages are no help. Any ideas please?

As the transaction has been complete you can exchange details via message, although I would make it clear in the message that this what you are doing due to late delivery etc.

Payment can only be by paypal if you both have this or via BACS transfer and again you would need the sellers details. eg Sort and account code.

Yes thanks for this. I will ask the question. I have PayPal and can make
direct payments from my bank. Either method would seem reasonable to me. I
just want to make sure that they get their money rather than just writing
it off because the solution is too difficult with EBay.
