Return shoes

Hi I have a pair of merrells that have started coming apart after just 3 months, I have contacted Merrell who have said they'll accept the return, as their shoes have a year warranty, but I need to go through the vendor as my sales agreement is with them, only the vendor has completely ignored my various attempts to contact them, quite upsetting as they're quick to take your money but then completely renege on the after sale service... Not sure how to proceed as the eBay platform is not very accommodating of these situations...

eBay's Money Back Guarantee is for 30 days, so they won't get involved with this.

Is the eBay seller as licensed seller of this brand and a UK registered business seller?

Because if they're not, I don't know why Merrell think that they'll do anything about this.
