I recently brought an electric bike for my son and the chassis of the bike has snapped completely off. It caused my son to nearly break his nose. I have requested a refund with the return of the bike and they have completely blanked me and not answering any of my emails and it will not let me do a feedback. What can I do

The important factor here, is when did you buy this bike?
If more than 30 days have passed the item's last estimated date for deliver, eBay cannot help you with your refund, and you'll need to turn to your payment provider for help now.
If you are within that 30 day timeframe, proceed this way:
You have received an item not as described, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.
The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund, if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you. If they don't , need to escalate the case, ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.
Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.

Thank you for your reply. The last email I received from the seller was that they would not offer a refund they would only send parts out to fix it unless it’s a manufacturing fault as I explained to them with photo evidence that it cannot be fixed as where it has snapped it was down to the welding which in this case is a manufacturing fault since then they have not replied to me. I asked eBay to step in but it would not let me do it.

You have to open ebay case 1st.
Then on day 4 you can ask ebay to step in.

If you are within 60 days of purchase there is nothing to stop you leaving feedback. If sellers could stop feedback then they would never get negatives.
I have not seen when you purchased, as if over 30 days you will get nowhere with ebay and would need to contact your payment provider.
