Return Request: The item is wrong mode

I listed an item with the full details and clear pictures attached. A buyer requested for it and it was sent as at when due. The same buyer is requesting a return and refund after a month tagging it “wrong item/description”, of which it’s all stated clearly and same item was sent as seen in the pictures. Am I still liable for the postage in this scenario? And am very sure the buyer saw it well before requesting for it, but wanted to see if it’ll fit as there was no other option(s). Can I get an advise on how to deal please.

Re: Return Request: The item is wrong mode

If a month has passed the item's last estimated date for delivery,  you can send the buyer a polite message that they have exceeded the period to claim any refund under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy.

They could still try their payment provider, but I'm not sure they'd be willing to refund an item after being ' in use' for over a month.

Re: Return Request: The item is wrong mode

If it is the wing mirror it sold on the 28th April, which could just come within the 30 day money back guarantee that ebay gives.

If this is the case you have no choice but to send a return label through the case, get the mirror back and refund in full when you get it back.

If you refuse to do this the buyer can escalate their case after 3 days and you'll lose the item and the money.

Re: Return Request: The item is wrong mode

Hi, thank you for the advice.
Please note that the said package was just returned today, I’ve re-listed it back for sale again.
But it seems to be damaged as some movable parts (the folding angle) is slack/loose, and am not sure this is resealable. Please how can I handle this? Regards
