Resolving Buying Issue

I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give on this as it's been ongoing since my original order in June.
History: bought a paid of Rizoma indicators from business seller. They were delivered with no additional fees from Royal Mail or Border Force. Decided to fit another pair so reordered although the price had gone up by about £10. Whe I was notified by Royal Mail that there was an additional £50 tax and fees to pay, I rejected them. I've been trying to get refund ever since and can't even get to the point of trying eBay's guarantee option. I'm currently down £150 on this one. Anything anyone could suggest that might move this forward?

Sorry, but you are liable for import fees.

By refusing to pay these costs, you invalidate ebay MBG and lose item & money.

As importer of item, you are responsible for paying them.

Resolving Buying Issue

Thanks,

I based my buying decision on the previous purchase which had apparently attracted Italian tax. The 2nd pair were more costly, so Italian tax was again applied but an additional £50 on a £150 (already expensive) item was too much. I informed the seller as soon as I was advised by Royal Mail of my intention to reject since it had already been two months since the order.

Regards

Nick

Once seller posted item, you are liable for import fees.

I know it is harsh, but thats ebay policy as far as MBG is concerned.
