Relisting Fees

Hi there, i posted my caravan for sale. Had one bid and the seller wanted to cancel as they'd bought another van. I ensured they sent the cancellation so I would not be charged a final value fee and it was cancelled.

I renewed the listing which I made sure said no fees, but I've now received a statement and I've been charged another £14.99!

Any assistance gratefully received.

Relisting Fees

The £14.99 is a listing fee,  which is non refundable,  and payable sale or no sale,  it's charged the second the item goes live.

It's the same if you placed your item in your local paper and it didn't sell,  the paper would not refund you,  your advertising fees.

Seller fees for the caravan if a cancellation is made citing ' Buyer Requests to Cancel'  does refund you your selling fees .

Relisting Fees

Apologies I think you misunderstood. I relisted, it said there was £0 to relist, and i was charged another £14.99.

Ebay have now refunded me, but i wanted to see if you're charged £14.99 everytime you relist a vehicle/caravan, as i understood it was £0 to relist provided the format stayed the same e.g. auction not changed to classified.

I didn't get any charges for the sale as the buyer pulled out so that was a relief.

Relisting Fees

That sounds like a courtesy refund not one set out in Ebay's published fee policy.
