Registering cash sale

Took cash for an item collected from the house, nether seller nor buyer knew anything about collection codes - buyer has tried to raise one retrospectively but can't ... happy to set my account straight but can't find a simple way to mark the item as sold / paid for.  If anyone has any ideas I'd like to hear from you, eBay appear uncontactable other than through a useless chatbot.  Thanks for reading

You can't mark it as paid.

Ebay no longer allow cash on collection and your buyer should have paid through Ebay checkout.

The collection code is necessary for Ebay to pay you but as you already have the cash, this is not an issue.
