Refund seller

I sold a jacket and got returned through being minor blemishes the buyer didn't want to proceed it said on my said eBay would give them a full refund once I receive jacket, I could see the money sitting on my eBay account but couldn't get to it then it disappeared when I received jacket.. no wits askk g to complete the return, when clicking it it then says send refund with the price of jacket. If I press this will this then take the money again from me? As I haven't actually received any money for it ? Thanks x

You will be classed as a new seller so payments are likely on hold by ebay for up to 30 days.   What usually happens with a refund is ebay take it from your bank account then you keep the original payment when it's released.

You could contact ebay in the morning and ask them to check the status of the refund.   You can request a callback on here:

You do say you have received jacket back, so I do not see that ebay will pay for refund, and you have the jacket.

As already said, being a new seller means money is held for longer, so ebay may expect you to refund and in due course the original money sill be released to you.

You should be able to see in your my ebay PAYMENTS, what the payment is marked as, held, due for release etc.
