Refund from Ebay how long does it take?

Refund from Ebay how long does it take? It states refunded but the money is still not in my account after 3 days.

I've already sent the item back.

Refunds go back to their funding source, so it depends how you funded the payment.

Bank funded payments can take between 3 - 7 days depending on your banks clearance time, refunds to a credit card can take up to 30 days to appear back on your statement.

With a PayPal balance or did you have a funding source logged with PayPal that you used?

Funding sources. 

The item was received damaged so ebay issued a refund immediately

Then we're back to the timescales I gave you earlier for how long it takes.
