I purchased a laptop on here and once I paid the seller (via PayPal) could no longer supply the laptop for one reason or another. Fine I'm not fussed, since the order was cancelled I've yet to receive my money back from Ebay. Its now been several days what is going on with this platform? Why is it taking so long.
Worst of all is there is no ebay number or email I can use to get help! Do I just have to paypal and say I was scammed!?

Have you had an email from Ebay saying the refund is being processed?
If not, then the fault lies with the seller and not Ebay.
When I have paid with Paypal, refunds have come to me almost instantly - definitely within an hour of me getting an email saying the refund was beind processed.
Have you checked messages and paypal?

You only have 30 days from estimated delivery date to open an official 'Item not received' case below --- follow the instructions carefully and escalate to eBay on day 4 for their assistance in obtaining a refund >

Simple answer is that seller has not cancelled, as that automatically makes a refund. Refunds go back to source and in the case of paypal are quick.
You would have been given an estimated delivery date, once past that date open a Not Received case, if still no refund escalate to ebay.

The status is cancellation pending. I dont have any option to select item not received. I'd like to add there is also no option to contact ebay about this either. Abysmal stuff!
The fact it's cancellation pending does it mean the seller has done their bit?
Giving this 24 more hours then I'm going straight to paypal.

Talk to eBay before going to PayPal --- no going back from there --- request a callback here >
