Re Simple Delivery

With Simple Delivery-Can I just print off the label-stick on an envelope and post in the normal post box-i.e. is it automatically tracked or do I still have to take to a Post office to be scanned.

Thanks

If it is a tracked service, then Yes, you need to get proof of posting from PO.

If not tracked, no need.

RM are bringing in new system soon where you can use post box & scan as posted using GPS,

although to me, does not prove you put item in box.

Re: Re Simple Delivery

Hi

Thanks for quick response-Boy has Ebay got complicated for an old person-The reason I asked is all about getting paid quicker and if Simple Delivery does not help with that (i.e.printing off the label does not speed up the payment process) I may as well continue as I have been and just stick a stamp on the envelope.-Have I got that right?

Regards and thanks once again

Re: Re Simple Delivery

If you're sending untracked anyway it won't matter.    For items under £10 (soon to be £25) you will get the money after buyer leaves feedback.   Over £10 (£25) you have to wait 14 days.   I'm sure you already know that using your own postage you have to mark dispatched manually.   And yes, ebay is now very complicated!

Re: Re Simple Delivery

If you are not using tracked service, then you will have to wait 14 days before release payment.

Also with buyer premium on low cost items, will push up cost to buyers.

You may be  better upgrading to business seller, no BP, instant payments.
